MB Series of Multi-Stage TECs with Enlarged Top Surface

This Thermion series is designed specially for cooling CCDs, multi-element matrixes of IR detectors, focal plain arrays and other planar electro-optic elements which have relatively large surface and require low temperatures for their operation. Over 160 cascade configurations having identical or near identical top and bottom dimensions are available. In spite of enlarged cold side area, these coolers provide temperature differences even higher than those for traditional “pyramidal” cascade TECs.
This Thermion’s series is permanently supplemented with new advanced configurations in response to the most refined customer’s needs. Such are the TECs 2MB04-042-C2, 2MB04-066-A2, 2MB04-092-A3, 5MB06-113-A1224, 5MB10-164-B2224 and many others.
